Planar DC Magnetron Sputtering Machine for Real Gold Plating
Planar DC magnetron sputtering coating machine can plate real gold, and its principle is to control the electron trajectory through the magnetic field, enhance the collision efficiency between electrons and argon, so that argon ions bombard the gold target at a high speed, sputter out gold atoms and deposit them on the substrate surface to form a uniform and dense real gold film.
Film uniformity and densification
Through the design of uniform electric field and magnetic field, the planar magnetron sputtering source makes gold atoms deposit uniformly on the surface of the substrate, and the thickness deviation of the film can be controlled within ± 2%. Under the microscope, there are no pinholes and protrusions on the surface of the gold film, and the compactness is better than that of the electroless plating film.
High adhesion and corrosion resistance
Magnetron sputtered gold films have strong adhesion to the substrate, and the tensile test after soldering is usually more than 10 N, which can withstand the soldering temperature of more than 300 ℃. At the same time, the gold film has strong corrosion resistance and is suitable for harsh environments.
Process stability and controllability
The thickness, composition and microstructure of the gold film can be accurately controlled by adjusting the parameters such as discharge power, gas flow rate and the distance between the target and the substrate. For example, reducing the working pressure can improve the film density, but the deposition rate needs to be balanced.
Main applications:
Electronic components
In semiconductor devices and integrated circuits, gold films are used as conductive layers or interconnection materials, which need to meet the requirements of high purity, uniformity and good adhesion. Magnetron sputtering gold film can ensure the stability of signal transmission.
Optical elements
The gold film can be used for preparing optical elements such as a reflecting mirror, a light filtering film and the like. For example, in a laser device, a gold film with a high reflectivity can increase the laser output power.
Decorative and functional coatings
Gold film plating on the surface of jewelry and clocks and watches can give products unique appearance and color, while reducing costs. In addition, gold film can also be used for surface treatment of building decoration materials (such as glass curtain wall) to enhance aesthetics and functionality.
Biomedical field
The gold film has good biocompatibility and can be used as the surface coating of biosensors and medical devices to improve the performance and stability of the devices.
